The news has been all over the map. "Get ready for the crash!", "We're still booming!", "Watch out for the bubble!"

Here's some perspective in a text conversation I had with a friend. It may not answer all your questions or settle all your concerns, but it's definitely something to think about.

ABC News reported a forecast from Goldman Sachs. While I respect the folks at Goldman are good at what they do, I still have to make every buyer sign a form that says I (REALTOR®) can NOT predict the market. It's anyone's guess what will happen. There are too many factors involved to make a prediction that concise. Don't believe something so complex and be simplified to a nice round figure.

More than that, many folks really can't add...
